Wow, I just saw this one -- I was so scared reading the story that little Eugene was going to get lost in the sewer, I'm so glad you found him!!!
What a lucky little skink, to have such a dedicated dad!!

Zach I know I may be a bit late with this post seeing as I haven't been on in forever, but wow, what a story...and it's true, a picture tells a thousands words...you can see by the look on your face in that one picture right after you rescued Eugene how relieved you were. Man, that is completely unreal. I am so happy that he is ok though.

you are all right. I have been really busy with my band lately, and also work and school, but I promise I will come on more. we are in the process of recording songs for our myspace website and for our EP. the myspace is myspace.com/hollywoodfalls if you guys wanna check it out. as for Lissa, she s shedding right now, still her same spunky self. She has been very sweet lately, I just wish I could take her out more. I need to borrow a digital camera and take some pics of her for you guys. On a sad note, I really think I am gonna sell her this year at Daytona. I just don't have time for trying to breed her and I don't have money to buy another male, I am really strapped for cash. I have only tried breeding her once in two and a half years, and I feel like she needs an owner who is dedicated and has the resources to breed her. I think I am gonna have Ben Siegel broker her for me at Daytona, unless someone on this board is interested in buying her...(which would be awesome if it were someone on the board). Seeing as I am much more motivated to sell her this time around, the price is a LOT lower than I asked the first time I tried selling her. I am going to ask $3,900 for her. Actually, I think I'll make a separate post of this and I'll post a classified. If anyone knows someone who may be interested in her, and you help me sell her, I'll offer a $100 commission. Aside from that, I hope everyone is doing well, and once again Zach glad to hear Eugene is ok. give me a call sometime if you wanna chat buddy. -Alex

At the moment, I'm just letting it heal on its on.
When he came out of the pipe, the open wound was of course filthy. I cleaned it thoroughly, and let it "breathe" overnight. I didn't want to cover it. The wound was so open and hollow that I also didn't feel comfortable admistering any ointment. The next day it looked so much better that I again didn't feel the need to put anything on it. It's gotten better each day, and I'm keeping a very close eye on it!

I like the updated pictures of it. Keep it up, Zach. I don't think I've seen a tail autonomy in progression from break to heal. Might be a good project, Zach. Especially for the caresheet, because a first-timer might really freak out over this.
