Inspired by mom22wins...Haunted Skink House!

After my son, Cole, saw mom22wins Septmeber Home decorations for her skink, he got so excited. He said he was going to design a "haunted home" for Kona for October. So he got his plans drawn and headed out to the dollar store (the only store in his price range). He bought all the decorations himself, talked grandpa into building the "haunted house" and this weekend we cleaned the entire tank and set his plans in motion for his haunted skink house. I attached pictures of the setup so you could see all of his hard work....pretty impressive work for an 8 year old. He is already drawing plans for November and December. He said every month will have a new theme.

Not bad.. but I'm thinking of installing incage plumbing and putting in a toilet and a self-refreshing waterbowl. Beat THAT!

Funda: He got most of the props at the "Dollar Store" (a store we have here that sells everything for one dollar) and his had his grandpa make the house. It is the only store in his budget...however he is now talking about selling some of his gameboy games to get some money for his November theme he is planning.

Russman: You get working on that in cage plumbing system.....you could travel the world installing skink plumbing systems...1st stop, Wisconsin!!

Leigh: If his professional golf career that he has planned doesn't pan out, maybe interior design could be a back up plan. However, if you saw the rest of his room, you might not be saying that!
