BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Hello, I'm Tyler. I haven't been on this forum for about a year or more so most of you won't know me. I got my first and only skink, Element, on June 28, 2005. He is one of Ray's Easterns.

I just cleaned his tank today so heres a picture of that too.

He is a very handsome skink, i love his colors and he has an adorable face.

Wow, Tyler, he's just as gorgeous as I remember him! Can you come and clean my tank too?

Sheesh, I always forgot how much I love element -- I think we may have to add the updated picture to the Eastern page. The cage looks great too -- that reminds me I still have two rolls of backdrop we need to add to our's....

Wow, Element is right! I think Fire and Air when I see his striking reds and yellows! That is a beautiful skink, Thanks for introducing yourself, (to us relative newbies) and posting the pics! Nice to meet you!

Hi Tyler (and Element)! He looks very content in his nice enclosure. Would you mind listing the "props" you have in there? I'd love to replicate it myself!

Its actually more simple than it looks! I bought a bundle of plastic leaves from walmart. I cut one part of the leaf bundle off and glued it to the half log. The background makes it look like i have more flowers but the walmart leaves are the only greenery in there.

He was around a month old when i got him. I haven't measured him in a while but I doubt he grew any, he was around 17 1/2 inches.

Nice looking Eastern Tyler. Beautiful colors and a happy face. I like your cage set up. We have the same wall paper.

Hello mate, has he gone from orange flanks and brown back to yellowish flanks and caramel back or is it just the camera/lighting?

Nope it isn't the lighting, I tried to post pictures that show his true colors. I wish he would have kept his orange flanks, but now they are yellow-orange.
