There are 2 girls in those pics (he had a big afternoon),both the girls are from Camberra while the boy is one of Colins line from the blue mountains.

Thanks Geoff,Another way to keep down humidity(although blotchies dont really need it). Wire bottom with shade cloth over it and then gravel as the substrate.It keeps it pretty dry in there.

very nice alpines pike and great to see them mating,they mate early up your way,my males are just starting to shed so a few weeks still before they start,have u bred the blotchies up there and how do they go with the conditions,nice set up ideas to with regards to keeping humidity down,something i may have to try with the stumpys if i can pluck the courage to try them out side,cant wait to see there bubs

Looking good Pike,you have got Shadowfax very excited HaHa,mine were doing most of the mating last month and at the end of august.The large cage i have now is not as good as i hoped though,the roof is higher than the old one and too much rain gets in during winter,they really dont like damp bedding it gives them scale rot like shinglebacks.Anyway i hope you have a nice lot of babys pike,definetly looking good,glad the little blue mountains one knows what to do with his dongas. :star:

yeah fine Lisa,just gotta watch they dont get too hot in summer.We got some bad frosts here this year, so it gets pretty cold.
