Eastern BTS cooling period

Hello!
I've got an eastern BTS pair... Last year I did brumation at 60°F... But they didn't bred (there was mating but nothing else)... I wonder if a cooler temperature like 50°F (on one month) will make better result...
I don't know what to do...

I got an e-mail from Ray Gurgui recently and he said 50 degrees was the target number. Mabye you should send him a PM for kicks.

Same here, I've been unable to breed Eugene, so I'm going to try again this year. The first year I tried, I had Eugene at 49...still nothing.
We'll try the special little guy again this year! It makes me mad because Enzo is rearin to go nipping at him saying make me babies NOW! Eugene just makes this face
and walks away....

You can definately afford to lower your temps.
To give you a rough idea about the conditions they endure in the wild (trust me, they're in my backyard
), an average winter
daytime temp would be around 60-65C, and
night time temps can get as low as 30C, though the average would be about 40C at night.
Easterns do cover a vast area of Australia, but they are more prevalent in the eastern states where we get cold, crisp evening temps in winter, and mild but sunny days in winter.

I don't know F temps so I did a conversion and all .... but still stuffed up none the less!
For those who read this (and rather than me editing it to make Leigh look like a prat
), the Cs should be Fs

Yeah, I was like 140F!!!! I did my own conversion, haha.
