I'm not positive how I know this.

Its funny to watch Blue go for locusts,he creeps up, does the slow motion mouth open bit, and as he goes to close ,it hops off ha haa haaa, he then gives me a dirty look as if I moved it and the routine starts again, then he gets pinny and just charge attacks until he nails it.
MMMmmmmm... Something???????

crickets
Try roaches instead of crickets. They are a bit more sound nutritionally and they are alot easier to deal with---once you get past the yuck factor! I love watching my guys chase them down and then do the death shake! Roaches are the easiest feeders I've ever kept.
I'm sure your little guy will be fine but let us know if you notice any issues in the future. We know you love your little guy!
(BTW, Have you gotten your frog yet?)
