what are after school specials ??? is it like some sort of school food? or some thing like that?

You may not be old enough yet, to have been subjected to the schools sex lessons us oldies had to endure. Fatal, I know what you mean.

It's the nice movies they make you watch in sex ed. You're probably at that point or soon to be. My little sisters are 13 turning 14 and start sex ed this year.

Ya I'm in 7th grade and all they tell us about in is are STDs and pics of what they look like i still have bad dreams about that one pic i almost barfed wen they showed it to us lol. and they all so teach about why to use protection and stuff like that. But back to the sperm plug.

Do they still air After School Specials? They did that when I was a kid and that was a few days ago.

Nope, asked again today, and they only just started the actual sex-ed this year, grade 8. Before they just had Health class, nothing sexual there. Guess we just wait a while ^.^ Then again, our sex-ed is basically just STDs -.-'

We had basic reproductive education in 5th grade, then sex ed in 7th.

In jersey it was 5th grade for reproductive ed and we never had sex ed, though my son's school starts sex ed in 5th grade out here My husband and I refused to let him attend.

Really? Isn't he just going to find out from his friends and not get the whole message?

We started sex ed in Connecticut the end of 5th/beginning of 6th grade. I was 10 or 11. Any later I think is too late. It needs to be taught while its still gross to "like" the opposite sex. Then they're more careful when they do get the raging hormones! Like herp boy said, he nearly barfed at the one pic of an STD!
Education is a GOOD thing!

We had dogs, cats, and cattle for sex ed. My claims it was mammoths, ground sloths, and sabertooth tigers.

I had 13 rabbits an d 2 lizards for that. i learned rabbits are really weird When it comes to that.
