Feeding Question

I just got my northern BTS a few days ago. He's wee little juvie.

Since I got him, all I've fed is superworms, mealworms and mustard greens. His previous owner was feeding some type of dog food as well as a lot of fruits. I know he needs more variety in his diet but I'm not sure what to start adding.

What are some things I can throw in to spiff up his diet? I've read a lot about dog and cat food but I have no idea what brand to buy and whether or not to get dry or wet.

I guess what I'm looking for is a good list of acceptable foods. I know about chicken, beef and turkey. But I need to know about veggies (not greens - I know which ones to feed) and cat/dog food. I read the caresheet but it's a little wordy and I couldn't quite get a clear picture of feeding a juvie.

i give mine either egg, chicken or canned cat food, mustard, dandelion, and collared greens, rasberries, strawberries, and blueberries--all in one meal. there is also a thread that is something about whats on the menu, and this link is really good too:

There's some links in the food section of the caresheet that take you to food-charts. These charts have all the meats, veggies, greens and fruits, and tell you how good each one is to feed. The sheets are amazing, and also tell you which foods are bad to feed. Go give em a look, print em off, and take em shopping with you. It helped me a tonn. Good luck!

I did the same. Printed the menue and take it to the shops. It's a great tool.
