BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I'll give a quick recap, I joined this site a few years ago and I was on here everyday learning all I could about bts. I was a member for about a year, then I built a cage, saved all my money and when I went to buy a bts, some financial problems arose. I ended up having to put off getting a bts. I also started working constantly and going to school all the time. This took up the majority of my time, so I didn't come to the forum as much. Now, it's a year or so later and I just got married to a great guy on the 3rd and we decided to get a bts. We actually had an extra tank lying around, so I PM'ed Zatchie and asked if he could part with his baby skinkie, Harry. After much deliberation (not really ) he said yes!! So you are looking at a very long awaited new owner! Harry will be here friday morning, so I thought I'd post pics so everyone could see his new digs...

Thanks everyone. The avatar was Zatchie's doing. I love it though! Harry is coming Friday morning so I'll take tons of pics.

Will and I have decided to change Harry's name to Petri... of course it might end up being Harry Petri

Yup Petri, Duckie, and Spike were my favorites. Plus my husband is a chemistry teacher and petri reminds him of petri dishes.

I'm so anxious right now. I went to main event and played laser tag thinking it would tire me out so I could go to sleep and wake up with skink in hand, but so far my plan has backfired.

The tracker said that it's in louisville KY and is on time for delivery. WOOT!

Don't tell your husband but chemists don't use petri dishes. Biologists do.

Yeah sometimes he isn't the brightest crayon in the box. He still hasn't caught on to the petri dish thing.
