Whoo! I'm stoked, guys! So. Stoked.
I just got a 50 gallon tank, w/ lights and the stand for free. Whoo!
Oh, and DooDaaLoo is happy too. :ohyes:

Pictures to come, but I just thought I'd tell you guys how excited I am!!! :D

Actually, it's a system called Freecycle. Instead of throwing things away and filling up the dump, you give it to somebody else. I just managed to get really lucky. :shock:

Looks an ok size to me, he's quite happily nosing out from his hide, the tightrope cables worry me slightly though mate.

I believe Leigh is referring to the electric cords coming from the top of the enclosure. :wink:

The cables that feed your lights and so on, are quite taught (no slack), this can put extra strain on the terminations, and one twang could yank the lights off the top of your tank.

Ahh, true true. I figured you meant the wires, I just wasn't sure though. I'm still moving around, so no worries. They'll be moved to a closer outlet soon.
