Attention BTS Lovers!!

I entered a pet photo contest and Kona made it to the final four. The winner will be determined by who recieves the most votes from the public. So, I am hoping some of you blue tongue skink fans will go vote and help Kona win. The other three pets....a chicken, a fish, and frog. The prize is really not the big deal here...the winner gets a pair of shoes from Nike. It would just be nice to see a BTS win!

I placed my vote. Gotta say it was an easy choice to pick Kona. The frog was cute but it was no BTS. And the chicken looked posessed. My apologies in advance to any chicken lovers I may have offended.

bah! It's All about the shoes! No need to lie! Just do it!

Edit - Uhh I don't vote or do anything like this normally, and it's not so much cuz it's a skink, or cuz you're a fellow board member, but those other shots were crappy. Yours clearly is the stand out. That fish looked terrible - surely a nicer fish could've been chosen, The chicken just looked like an average pic of a chicken, and the frog was too small, the big boof head in the background (even though it was blurry) took all my attention away from the frog. Your bluey was clearly a better pic. Apart from the fact that blueys are notorius for moving when you click the button, the pose is proud and the colouring rich which even though are only a couple of a larger number of points in your favour are enough to have you beat the heck out of those other pics.

BY the way - what sort of equipment are you using? My sister is a pro photographer, so i've grown up being a subject and learning bits and pieces along the way. I take it you've hit the digital age? I'm still on film! I Have a minolta X300 with a magnon Macro and an Asanuma 2x Tele Converter. I think my sis has either the cannon D1 or the D5 - she had a pentax I think but it wasn't up to scratch.

The chicken gave me the heebie jeebes. I cast my vote for Kona. Think it matters that I used a fake e-mail address?

I really don't think you will get any spam. It is a company that designs websites for photographers. They have designed my last two websites and I have never got a spam from them in the three years I have been in business with them. So I am pretty sure you will be safe from any spam!

Blotch....I have two cameras. A nikon D80 for my everyday stuff (I think that is what I took the picture of Kona with) and I use a canon 5D for my sessions with clients. My very favorite photographer is from Australia...Barb Uil....does your sister know of her? Thanks for you nice comments and for voting!

I voted for Kona.....I agree with Blotch, the fish looks like a cow pie, the chicken is normal; the frog shot was ok but really dark and you can't see much!

Thanks so much, everyone! You guys are really awesome. Thanks for being supportive and all the kind words about the picture.

My five year old asked what the winner will get. I replied, "A pair of shoes from Nike. " She asked, "Do they make a pair small enough to fit Kona?" Good question I thought. Do you think Nike will make a custom pair for Kona if she wins??????
