Hi guys.
I've seen a few threads where members are letting their BTS meet one another outside of the tanks. I would love to be able to have more than one out at a time wandering the play area, under supervision obviously. But my guys are all different sizes, and I do not want to see any fighting or attempted eating. I know the safest way is to not intro them, but is there anything I can do to make it safer for an intro? I don't have much extra time lately because I have to make several trips to visit my grandma, who is sick. I love taking these guys out, but it would be easier if I could bring out more than one at a time. All tips, advice, comments and criticisms are welcome. Also, in the future I would like info for safe breeding intros. Please and Thanks ^.^

Well i let all 4 of mine out at once for the first time several days ago. It was nerve racking! They all seemed to go their own ways. I didnt put any of them near each other. I just let them do it on their own. The only ones that came close to each other is Cooper and Sassy and Cooper and Tybo. Sassy huffed and ran off. Tybo just huffed. I kept a towel in my hands so if need be, i could throw it on them if one went after the other. Everything went well.
But I am interested in hearing what others have to say as well.

As I type Wocket is chillin on my laptop keyboard and Pryce is wandering the bed. I think these would be the only 2 I'd into, as Trikks is flighty and huffs just seeing the others. I'm just to worried to let them meet each other. I think I'll try through a piece of clear plastic if they decide to get close. Oh, and now Wocket is behind my back, being wiggly ^.^

He went up my pant leg. Pryce went up my pants! Not only is he after my chest, now he wants in my pants. Naughty boy! This feels so odd, Wocket against my back and Pryce on my leg.

Reactions will vary on the seasons, but being winter there I think you'll be ok.
It's always good to have another person around if you've got more than one on the go. Just in case one makes a break for it.
Failing that, are you doing it indoors? Clear a room out as best you can so you have a nice, big open space on the floor. Place a hide box or blankets or jumper or some things that one can go to if feeling threatened. Put your blueys down, sit in the middle or stand at the door and observe.
I've found that mine always do have a general interest when they are in the vicinity of another (probably because in the wild the only time they come across others in close proximity is to shag, or to attack a potential rival for said shag), and that you will know sooner rather than later if one will be aggresive because that initial changing from inquisitiveness to 'I'm gonna kill you' is noticeable. You may see quick head movements or general twitchiness, they tend to circle one another rather than walk side by side, one showing more of an interest than the other is another sign, and tongue flicking goes into overdrive.
My Jubby has shown aggression to the other two, but the other two are fine together. The funny thing is, the bigger the area they have together the more likely he is to be aggressive. Him on the lounge with the others is fine, but put him outside or in a room with the others and he's pretty territorial.
I think there's no harm in having more than one out at the same time. I always have two, sometimes all three out together. Means they all get good outside time rather than only an hour or so each.
I don't know how you can handle his nails against your back or legs. About a month ago I put Jubby up Conor's pants leg when he was lying (read: passed out) outside and he made it all the way up to the top. So did the scratches
He actually had to take his dacks off to get him out. He put all the chocolate in the house in the top cupboards as punishment

Hey guys, just wanted to bring this back up and give an update. I re-introduced Pryce and Wocket when they were out during cuddle time with me and my little sister. Again, Wocket stayed very still, and Pryce ran over to him. Pryce then climbed right over Wocket and continued to explore. He did this 2 times. Wocket started roaming and ignoring Pryce then, so I consider it a big success!

The only advise I have about introducing young blueys in play time is know your skinks. Is one more mellow than the other? is one a monster? That kind of stuff. I decided to put my guys out together... I knew I had to keep my eye out for my most toughest skink psycho. As soon as I put them down they each acted as I thought they would. Babe just sat there (hes SOOOO laid back). Win, the smallest took off on her own (shes soo independant and curious. And guess what psycho did? He puffed up rushed up to Babe and attempted to take the biggest bite out of him. Right before he bit down I grabbed him. And the whole time babe just sat there lol. I believe the same way they act towards you they will generally act towards other skinks... Although I cant really say with sexually mature skinks due to the fact i dont have any. But my guess its different due to their "new" agenda, lol.
