I don't see a noticeable difference myself, but I think that's to be expected after such a short space of time.

There are many reasons for this, some of them being;
That their metabolism is slow,
Activity levels for northern hemisphere animals is less this time of year,
The amount of food they consume relative to their size means that increases or decreases in meal size or frequency are not as noticeable as they would be in a larger animal.

It'll be a slow and steady process, particularly at this time of the year there, but I think it'll be beneficial for Garry :thumbs:
Well done, keep it up!

Perfect-Shape person is definately just feeding you the BS. Good job on getting him on a diet! Make sure he gets tonns of exercise, that should really help. He has such a beautiful pattern though! Just painted on. Good luck!

One way to tell if he has lost weight is to get a good digital (what I prefer) gram scale and keep record of his weight.

He doesnt look much thinner to me, but as mentioned, he's only recently started to diet(fair play to you for that)

Does skink muscle weigh more than fat,like in humans?
I ask this because, someone mentioned using scales,and if so he could be slimmer but heavier coz he's beefed up.

If someone else was responsible for my weight and red wine intake, I'd be a few pounds thinner too....

lol - I'm reading this with a glass of red in hand! I think we'd all eat a lot more veggies if that was all we were given....

Garry is beautiful - great colors!! Good luck with the diet and exercise - it will definitely be worth it in the end.
