I have taken hundreds of pics to get this one and I am so happy.
Maybe I need to get out more?

The bluetongue yawn is even harder to get but i got a geat one of my death adder yawning..

Tell your skink a long winded boring story?

Use a camera with burst mode?

Put something yummy smelling on the camera so the skink comes up to the lense tongue flailing?

Get them early morning or disturb thier rest to get a yawn shot, I put a drop of water on his nose to see the tongue,or wait until dinner time.The camera helps too,macro makes shutter speed to slow on mine for tonguer action.

i love it when they eat egg you get heaps of tongue shots plus its funny to watch.
