Should I be worred?
I was playing with Homer and I notised that oneof his front fingers and the tip of it was cut off it looks like it was starting to heal. So I gave him a warm bath and cleaned his tank really well so it shouldnt get infected. Sorry no pics of it I droped my camera in a water dish.

Toes are quite the hassle aren't they!?!
Just keep everything clean, and make sure that you keep an eye on it. There's no getting the toe tip back, but you should be able to save the rest of the toe by simply helping it heal.
Nice going on dropping your Camera! How are we meant to look at your pics now? sheesh!

BTS toes seem very fragile. The nails come off almost randomly, and stuck shed or a bite or injury and the toe is gone. Pryce lost several nails/toes due to his lack of care in the pet store and before that.
If it was just the nail, it may or may not eventually re-grow (possibly in years). If it was part of the toe, it'll be gone, but shouldn't cause any trouble. Keep it clean, and keep an eye on toe shed, just in case Homer has trouble with it. Good luck.

Oh my gosh, am I understanding right that Homer ATE his own toe somehow? and that it was sticking out of the poo?

By any chance did your bluey shed recently or did you ever notice that any of the toes looked like they were swollen in parts? I had one bluey bite off a toe during shedding. I think the toe shed was bothering her, and she bit at the foot to remove the shed. Let's face it, blueys aren't the most coordinated creatures. One time I fed Gargamel a roach, and he bit his entire foot while trying to catch the roach.
Anyhow, the first bluey I mentioned also lost a few toes because some of the shed remained on the toes after several sheds. Sometimes, it's really hard to see old shed because it can fit on the toes like a glove. It can cut off circulation and lead to a ballooning of the tip of the toe. Eventually the toe just dies and is lost in shedding.
Just inspect the toes and see if they are clean. This is kinda stupid, but I always look at the bottoms of my bluey feet after they shed. I think it's easier to see a difference between old and new skin by inspecting the underfoot.

Thats really good advice, Marie! Luckily, I love playing with Chuffers' feet and he's actually very tolerant of my doing so.
Did you laugh when Garg tried to eat his foot? Whole new meaning to foot in mouth disease, hmm?

I guess it had never occurred to me that they might bite off their own toes during a shed. Makes perfect sense. Thanks Marie.
