Ahh maybe yeah, i did see salt and pepper written on there or somewhere so you could be right. The jet black ones are awesome too!

See, this is very much odd from a animal adoption standpoint. Generally, with cats and dogs and other critters, white or pale animals are much more desirable. Black animals are very hard to adopt out. People just see them as bigger, meaner, and perhaps superstition can come into play.

Then I'm a weirdo, because I have always had dark/black animals. As a kid I had a black guinea pig named Chadwick, a black Netherland Dwarf rabbit named Oliver, a black cat named Samuel B. Cat, another black cat named Raven, and finally, my big straight-eared scottish fold, Duffy.
We were even breeding mice that were all black, we called them black-bellies (because most mice that were black still had whitish or grey belly fur) and we had long haired ones, curly afro-haired ones, and regular short furred black bellies.
All mammals, I admit. I just like the darker fur, it looks sleek and beautiful, and those dark Blueys are absolutely stunning to my eyes!
(But I was the child that brought black ants into the house crawling all over my hands, trying to show my Mum!)

Plus, white fur shows up everywhere! Arrrgh!
