Anyone been to Terraristika, Hamm Germany?

Postby jasjmm27 » Mon Jan 21, 2008 11:50 pm

Just curious if anyone has been to this herp "show". It is supposed to be the biggest in the world and, well, I like travelling and don't mind Germany so...might be a good thing to check out? Just curious is anyone here knows anything about it?

Below is a Thread I found on another site about it...simply because the main site for it is in German (language choice option doesn't seem to work for English). :)

hamm is manic, im prob going to the one later in the year but i have friends who go and say its such a crush.

you have to take what you want when you see it otherwise its gone 10 mins later and knowing the latin helps as most people dont speak english.

Hamm is large indeed, as are the crowds visiting. Especially the september edition is bizar in terms of crowdines. However, in Europe it simply is the place to be if you are out for something special.

It is not completely true that most people don't speak English. (You have just talked to the wrong people there gloom_kitty...:D). I myself am from Holland so I manage both English and German (although if ever possible I try English and it works most of the time).

It is the one fair I never miss. Each time I get anoyed by he crowds, but each time I manage to sell some of my offspring and every now and then take some very interesting animals home...8)

Their site has pictures too, to give you an idea;
