why are my pictures not loading?

why are my pictures not loading?

I got a new camera for christmas it is great but everytime I try to upload a pic it shows a blank screen. I am trying to post pics of my babies in their new enclosures.

yea and i had to use photo bucket to get them on a post. I dont understand it. it was jpeg.

no but it says it resizes them and always had before on my other camera

there is a way of tricking Photobucket into allowing bigger files than it usually allows.

Installed all the drivers?

You're talking about the UploadPic here? If the pictures are ungodly enormous, they won't load. You can't load like 4MB photos, it times out usually.

Like i said its a new camera I may have it set too high I will read my book again and try to change it. I love the higher resolution though it makes for better pictures.

I'm sure Windows comes with a program where you can shrink the size of a picture. Keep the high resolution on the camera so you get great pictures, but shrink the size when your posting. This also works best for Photo Contest pictures, as you hand in the high resolution one if you win, makes the calendar look nice.

If you email the pictures to yourself,, it asks if you want to resize for ease of transfer, do this to them ,then there's no issue when trying to upload to the site.
MMMmmmmm... Something???????

I had the same problem until I resized them before trying to upload them and it worked just fine. Irfanview works well or Windows has an add-on program that you can use.
