Male together?
I everyone, thanks for all the help on my last question. I have another. In all you guys experience what have you seen when you put two males together. I think I may now just have a male that wags his tale. When I put them together one of them wags his tail the other looks at him a trys to get away. Everytime they look at each one of them runs. They do everything they can to avoid each other. Everyonce and awhile they bite each other. The bites are full bites just nips. Does any one have a video of two male together? Thanks

This completely depends on the individual animal...I have two males that would kill each other if put together (Niko and Slurpy), but put Eugene and Slurpy together (both males), and they're best friends. Males will typically fight and some tail wagging is not uncommon. I know that stinks since it's suppose to be a female trait but males do wag sometimes. If it's violent bites to the head, that's no good. Breeding is usually "curious" bites to the sides, tail and neck. Males often will circle each other with mouths wide open. If you're doing this duing the offseason (not breeding season), you could have an aggressive female who's not ready to breed. These females usually respond with lightning fast jabs. They're so quick the female usually doesn't even bite; it's almost more of a head butt because she's trying to be more imposing than actually inflict damage to get the male away.
Hope this helps somewhat...

were both of these animals cooled this winter? If not they may just not be interested in breeding. Also, this is a little early to be trying them together if you are looking to see if you have a pair.
