Hi! These are cell phone pics (I am at work) so not that great, but had to share - our craiglist tank find and Peyton's new home!
Luke literally got into his cleaning work.....
One end - like the carefresh!
I think I like it....
Boo....
I love this one...
Can't wait to go home and actually watch her - dang I am addicted to her!

I like the new cage. How come it is always other people find cages on craiglist I don't? LOL!!
What size cage is that? How much did you pay for it?

WOW! Looks like 100G or 120? Good find! With tall cages like that remember to check the distances for UVB availability (if you use a UVB bulb and "believe" in that) and to check the temps to make sure the surfaces are getting to the right temps! I have a 90 G that is probably nearly that tall and it can be interesting to "rig it" correctly!
The skinks love the room to explore, though!

Thanks! Its actually a 55 (although it seems bigger to me) gallon - I searched craiglist for months! We got the tank, a screen top, 3 lights, and driftwood accessories and the stand for 100.00! My husband said Peyton is lovin' it! He said she looks so small in it! We are watching the temp - I was using slate tiles for basking - what do you suggest I do to raise up her basking area?? Maybe we will build a wood platform, I'd like her to be up a bit to bask!

You Americans and your imperial measurments - join the rest of the world in the metric system would you?

Now why would we want to join in and be just one of the crowd?

hahaha - it's just better for everyone - it's not like you are letting the man win - you'd be just making it easier. Hey - in Australia - we still use imperial for some things. If you're measuring someones height, it's acceptable to use both CM or FT. personally - I use FT when talking about Fish tanks and height. otherwise it's all metric baby!
Gallon - pfft
The only time I've used pounds was when talking about green stuff.
But in regards to Tanks (vivs) I reckon FT is the best way. Don't know why - I just do.

I'm lazy so the closest will do for me 6ft not 2.2m, 1 pint not 568ml, also for football 6yrd box,18yrd box, I'm talking REAL football ,not the American football thats picked up and thrown

football as in soccer?
I still reckon aussie football is better. Rugby is a stupid sport - however Union is tolerable.
american football is ok, but still nothing in comparison to AFL.
My Surfboard is 6ft 6inches. I'm 6ft tall. My foot is actually a foot long. and yes Leigh - a pint is a pint!!
