BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I tried feeding Duke today~~

I gave him yummy yummy carrot, greens, orange, and apple...
and he didn't even look at it....

then I'm eating my dinner--Yams

And he wants some...So i have him half and he ate a little!!~

Go figure he eats when all the stuff I actually prepared is all gone..in the trash... @_@

He obviously just prefers whatever *you're* eating! ;-)

lol, He will remain unsatified until he gets to eat your dinner too.

I wouldn't want to eat nasty veggies without meat either! Haha

Mines the same mainly, some are just lucky their skinks are mostly veggies.

Lyn (len) pretty much eats what i give him, i only give him cat food as a treat, so not very often but yeah he eats all his veg, fruit, mill and wax worms

Hershal loves his Can-O-Snails.
He will not eat anything without a snail or two in his salads!!

Did you handfeed the yam? My guys always prefer to be handfed. Of course it is usually bananas, roaches, or treats that are handfed...

my lot were picky them weren't. they go through stages - right now they are fine - eating everything i give them. *knocks on wood*

I handfed the yam...hope I don't have to hand feed him EVERY TIME @_@

And I'm giving him a tiny bit of meat...all he wants to do is explore though....He just walks away from the food without looking at it...he must be hungry though. It's been four days~~

But on the bright side, he's much nicer ^_^
He only hisses the first time I pick him up.

PS. He doesn't bask unless I make him. I have to actually drop him on his basking spot for him to start basking. Otherwise he stays hidden all day even though he's awake. Is that weird???

He is probably not eating and hiding because he is burnating still.
