after 4 days (first weigh in was on Monday the 25th Feb @ 80g) the Kimbo is weighing in at 91.5g.

I also measured it and the total length was 26.2cm as opposed to 25cm four days ago.

that's crazy!

He's not eating alot though - any hint on good food for babies? it seems the regular feed isn't good enough.

Mine go ape for eggs and raw meat (favourite it kanga), banana. Won't look at leaf veges. They are very fat.

First time i fed it - it took dog food and finished it all.
Next it took egg but left some.
Then a little bit of banana and left the majority.
Then left the cat food and vegies.

if I don't feed it today - it's day 2 without food.

What was the previous owner feeding it on? Two days without food is alright, he looks healthy enough.

yeah - it's just always hiding and i wanna make sure it's happy - i've never had a small one likethis - all mine have always been older.

The breeder fed it on fruit and cat food apparently.

Yeh frustrating my blotchies lick cat food, but leave it and the Easterns have a go at it in the morning.

Forgot to mention that they have eaten a few snails but not the reaction I was hoping for with chopped up one. The Easterns get into them though.

I still keep trying them with veges but I think they are spoilt. I would give them a spell and see if they eat veges if they get hungry enough but I'm trying to push them a bit in the lead up to Winter.

I figure in that case, if they are eating it, it is nutritious then go for it. Vit D etc aren't an issue being outside.

I'm chucking lots of bugs (beetles, slaters etc) in with them for sport rather than nutrition.

This is a photo of Lizzy three weeks after I got her/it. The one in the middle. Note also the colour change - badly in need of a shed and currently in the process.

Three weeks ago.

I love that pics of all the babies chillin out together. Blotch that sound like quite a growth rate. My are not really into food either. Like yours did they would lick it but not take. Although yesterday they started to really eat.

wow thats an amazing growth in a short period of time and its coloring has even changed:D

The colouring is the Same - however I've noticed more speckles over its body - but that could just be me paying attention to more as i study it closely.

Maybe the reason you say the colour has changed is due to the flash making the coulouring look lighter?

Luke, how do you know Aus is talking to you, not Scott? I don't know either.

 I think he was talking to me but I was just trying to illustrate that Blotch's baby's growth rate is in the expected range. Mine are gunna slow down dramatically soon. I expect that Blotch's will become a baby Huey in no time.

Yeh colour will bounce back after a shed. Lisa sent me some photos of Ralphies development and he started off similar.

have you measured and weighed them yet?

If not - you should do so and we'll constantly compare. How old are they again?
