Pryce is a bit of grump when you try taking him out. Most of the time I just open the tank and wait, and he'll get curious and come visit. Today he sat there and huffed at me. After several tries I got bored and decided to just pick him up. He doesn't like that, and bit me. I'm used to it though.
We'd actually gotten past the turn and bite stage before brumation. Maybe he's still a bit grumpy after waking up. He should calm down and go back to just huffing at me once he realized I've got snails. The second time I picked him up today he crawled right onto my arm, so that was good.
He's also a pet store skink, and was never treated well, leaving him with health problems and a rough attitude. The pet store I got him from was given a horrible care sheet from the breeder/dealer, and just went with it. They were too scared to even pick up Grumpy. He's quite a sweetly once out of the tank though, and puts up with everything I do. Really good with kids too, never a huff or anything.
Pryce likes the hide, he might be upset if I remove it. I can't suspend these lights as the tank isn't high enough, they'd nearly touch the ground. As is the temps are great, and Pryce is healthier than ever. Come March he'll get a new big tank to explore, and I can ditch this one. Bet someone'll give me money for it

It works really well on friendly animals. It's all in how you sell it.
Luke, you're so mean! Potty Mouth! I'm telling Luce you're a poopy head!
