Ocho is shedding
And he is being really good about it he still wanted to come out for his cuddle and I let him have some hard boiled egg with his food and after not wanting to eat for the past couple of days he was back to munching away here are a couple of pics I thought the one with egg on his face is funny the second shows his shedding . hey sue, i know you didnt ask but just incase, i often find a shallow dish of water, like a pyrex dish, helps lynyrd easy of he;s old skin.

Tito always is in such a state when he sheds!! He turns almost completely WHITE under his black spots (has almost no pigment at all) and I know that he is ready to shed!! Being that he is now 5-6 years old, it only happens every couple of months but since he had lost 2 toes when he was with the evil breeder man, we are extra careful when he sheds. He shed last week and we had him in a warm bath every night until he shed. Then, after he was almost done, we put him back in the bath and let him splash about (think the sinking Titanic and he's one in the water about to perish) and carry on.
Your pics are adorable and Ocho is a little darling!! I love the egg on the face!! My skinks love eggs too!! Keep the pics coming and you will be amazed at how fast Mr. Ocho grows!!!! Take care!!!!

Ocho has been burying himself in his substrate it's not that deep though so I took him out earlyer and let him have a nice warm soak in a washing up bowl he loved it I think he thinks he's a aligator while he was in there I changed his substrate put a bit more in and after his warm bath he went back and buried himself one happy little man

Mine are scruffing along logs, and shed is every were , Yep i dunk em in a bucket if there stuck with a patch ,, then it just disolves
