Eye infection

Postby poocheek2000 » Wed Mar 12, 2008 12:00 pm

Hey guys hows it going? I've got a baby blue whos about 3-4months old. Recently I've noticed one of his eyes is very watery and I can barely even see the orange color. It almost seems a little sunken. Does anyone have an idea of what this might be? Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum. :welcome:

Pictures will get you a much better idea of what the problem could be. However watery eyes can be a sign of an Upper Respiratory Infection (URI). It could also be stuck shed, substrate in the eye, or various other things. I'd suggest post pictures, and if it's getting worse at all, go to a reptile vet. Eye problems can end up bad if not treated.

Sunken eyes can be a sign of dehydration.
