FOR SALE

Hi guys,

I just posted a thread in the classifieds section but i thought i'd post a quick one here too as i know not all Aussies read the classifieds because most of them are American sales.
It's a sad regretful sale but it has to be done and i'm advertising here first because i want them to go to loving homes and to people i know will have their best interest in mind :(

Nice for you that you get to travel but sorry to hear it will cost you your BTS. Maybe one of our members in your area would love them or mind them for you while you are gone?

I reckon Lisa should put her hand up and maybe try breeding them with her guys (if possible).!

I'm not into the breeding thing, human or lizard!
Besides, you do know how far away Newcastle is to here? Melbourne by plane is quickest

Kris, I'll help you out if you get desperate but I'd have to do some serious remodelling of my house, and give up my dream of having a centralian. I only take on animals if I know I can give them the attention that they require. I feel I can do one more (which at this stage is set aside for a centralian) but being honest with myself two would be compromising the care I could provide for all of them.

In regards to the length of time you're away and when you're going, you could begin to put them into brumation now and they would require minimal care even by a novice for a good 3-4 months. Change water, check lights and timers etc.

You could try contacting Wallflowergirl and/or Mouseinamilkbottle as they both live in Newcastle and may be able to child-mind. I've not seen them around here for a while, but I think that has more to do with some comments made on the forum rather than disinterest in their animals.

Like I say, if you get desperate I'll do what I can.

Hi Lisa,
I did have someone from the group contact me about my boys already so i guess i'll have to see what happens there. I don't have any idea how long i will be gone for, i love it so much in Asia i could live there!
I can't leave them here with my mum because she has no idea about the lighting and heating requirements and she's about to start chemo too so she's out of the question.
I don't at all expect you to give up or put off your dream of owning a Centralian, i'm pretty sure i'll find them a new home soon even if its not with you.
Thanks though :) i'll see what happens over the next few days.

I'm pretty sure the Shingleback is sold, still got the bluey and will take $250 for him and his enclosure.

Thanks,
