Kira went to the vet this morning. Vet said the husbandry was excellent
The vet did say that the humidity should be 45-55%, which I think is too high... hopefully the hide and cigar humidifier will be enough. She also recommended slightly higher temps, but I think I'll stick with the care sheet.
Kira is kind of grumpy right now, so she got some apple to appease her! Everyone at the vets office wanted to see her, as the receptionists hadn't seen a skink before and thought that it was an amphibian.
As for the rescues: she said that dry gangrene is not a condition, probably just an observation... so there wasn't much she could tell from that. Recommended daytime temps until we can get them in to see her, and also gave me a recipe to syringe feed them with, which includes a tin of Hill's antioxidant cat food, Ensure, baby food squash, Pedialite, milk thistle, calcium powder, vitamin powder, and meal worms. I think I will substitute the meal worms for a healthier feeder though, as this was for Leos.
I guess there isn't much else I can do but go baby shopping and wait!
