Tofu anyone?
Has anyone fed their skink Tofu? I know it sounds silly but mine absolutely LOVE it! It has calcium and protein, so I just decided why not? You might laugh, but my skinks are hip and in the now, they eat froofy food

really??
Tofu to me doesn't smell or taste much like anything. Tastes yummy in dumpling mixed with meat. Which is kinda ironic cuz most people use it as a meat substitute ;D

Thats the problem, its like chewing an eraser, the flavoured type just adds insult to injury.
I don't know what kind of tofu you're eating but the kind I eat isn't that chewy O_o
Kinda goes down without chewing lol~
Just tastes like meat if it's mixed with meat ;D
I never had flavored type before O_o

Okay, texture wise there are many different grades of tofu, medium, extra firm, etcetera. As to the extreme chewiness, that is what happens when tofu is fried, which is what you will find in stir frys at many restaurants. For skinks, I don't think is a good idea to feed it to them. Although tofu does have lots of protein and other nutrients, soy blocks calcium absorption. I am not sure of the calcium-phosphorous ratio of soy, but until more people study it I prefer to just avoid the stuff.
