I think it would be fun and interesting to find out who is the longest, shortest, and heaviest bluey on the forum. I think I already know who the heaviest is...either Bode, Mama, or Chunka. Length is really what I'm interested in the most...I'm not sure we've ever had a bluey longer than 23 or 24 inches? Remember my sweet pea was 26! All tail.
Niko is my longest at 22 inches.
Pearl is the heaviest at 793 grams.
TQ is the shortest at 17.5 inches.

I don't think any of those three would win heaviest...shinglebacks are heavy even when they aren't big!
Mamma has lost some weight, so I think she's only at 975g. I'll have to weigh her again to find out for sure though. I'm pretty sure Chunka is heavier though...so is Jen's Bianca!

A guesstamate at age needs to be added as well, then the other measurements will be more accurate.

Yeah, let's just forget the shortest length. That's too tough to keep track of and we just don't know all of our BTS' ages.
I want to see length specifically!

Chuffers is a solid 22 inches. Maybe even just a touch more total length. Its hard to get him to sit still long enough while all stretched out to really truly get a measurement on him.
He weighs in at 620 grams, so he's not the heaviest.
Maybe split it up between species, i.e. Biggest Shingleback, heaviest Northern, longest Merauke?

I think we should exclude shingleback since they're so extraordinarily different, and even disputed whether they are the same species (as tiliqua).

I think Ralphie would be in the running for the whoppingest blotch. He's 53cm or 21 inches at two years old.
Weight? I'd have to take him to one of them weigh stations that they weigh trucks on
He also seems to have the biggest blotches themselves I've seen on an Alpine. Maybe they're just stretched

I think they're all joining up and he'll just be a big blob of blotch one day with no black in him at all.

no matter how big he is - i bet 2 of my blotchies could nail him in a punch on. and i don't mean 2 on 1 - I mean 1 on 1. I reckon 2 of my blotchies would be serious contenders for the most violent.

I'm not sure most violent was one of the categories.
You have violent lowlands?
was curious...

so I had to measure mine:
Latte' was 21 inches (06) Will she grow anymore? Her grandpa was a real mostrosity and I bought a huge tank "just in case."
Pele' was 17 inches (07)
Lisa, I never noticed Ralphie's fat tail before.

Is that the angle or is it really that robust?
We need pictures of all the winners!

oh and he is at least over 3 years old because he was full grown when i got him 3 years ago. he looks kinda old in the face compared to lilly.

lilly is about a year and a half old and she is already 20 inches she only looks 3/4 of the way grown compared to blue i think she will be a whopper.

Nice looking skinks Brigget!
Mine are all babies, so I'll have to get back in a year or two with measurements. Jax will likely be big, especially with the merauke tail... I just measured him and at 5 months he is almost 14 inches long. Kira and Nemo are both around 11 inches - still little munchkins!! Kira is not a huge eater (unless its her favorites), and Nemo is built like a short little tank - I'm sure he'll grow quickly given the amount of food he puts down.

You know, I was thinking about it. . . Chuff would probably be a solid 23 inches long if his tail hadn't been broken in all those places. . .
Look at the x-ray on the left, you'll see what I mean!
I bet if his tail were straight he'd be about an inch longer!
