Basically, it's the beginning of a flash website, and is being inspired by my favorite artist in the world, Praful (pra-fool). www.praful.nl

I think it would be neat but for daily users it may get annoying and take a while to load.

I like it. But i'm also kinda fond of the one we have already....

wow, fancy! it looks more adult, sophisticated and such. we'll have to take our conversation up a notch. but i like it. but i also like the one we have now. it's fun looking and more kid like and that's kind of the nature of the site. but whatever, as long as we can get rid of some of the members with the transfer...... just kidding

I like both. I only have dail-up and it came up pretty quickly when I clicked on it.

Very classy! I like it, but I'm the newbie here, so I'll defer to those who have been here longer and have more invested in the look of the site.

okay i just looked at it again and i really like it so i say do it. as long as there's still lots of pictures it will essentially be the same. it's them that makes the site anyway. as long as we can have avatars i'm happy.

Zen brings up a good point - will moving to the new site cause any other changes (loss of certain features)?

As far as the design goes, the newer one looks a lot more, well...new. More 'professional-looking' as well. Flash is good.

i think the new site looks great. thats flash right? the only downside would be for the dial up users so its more of their decision i guess. if they dont mind then i would say go for it!

Zach, you make the site yourself? And what about the flash? You too?

While I have a cable modem at home and it likely won't be an issue to me, I imagine the speed might bug me when using my pc at work to visit the forums (which I do more often than I should be )

That is a gorgeous skink you got on the homepage Zach lol!! Lissa is blushing. As for the idea of a new site, I really liked the look of that one, it was more sophisticated, more professional looking, like some of the other forums you see. Even though this site is great, if there is newer technology out there and you don't mind putting the time and energy into making a flashsite, than I think the phrase "what you get out is what you put in" comes to mind. Overall, the site was more attractive looking, as far as speed problems go I didn't have any but I can't speak for someone who is using 56k like Edward. I like that you are using a poll in order to get our opinions on the issue Zach. Overall nice job though.
