Team in Training triathalon...

Well, I decided I am going to do it!! I have wanted to do a triathalon for a long time and I got a flyer for Team in Training. It is an organization that raises lots of money for Leukemia and Lymphoma research. You join team and you have to raise a certain amount of money (I think it is like $1500) to compete and they help you with training to get ready for the race. I am going to ask my dad to do it with me. He is already a runner, but I hope we can do it together! It will be a lot of work, but I will be really proud of myself if I can do it.

I have never done one either. As a matter of fact I haven't run a race at all since I was in highschool (no comments from the peanut gallery[ Bluey and Nomad] on how long ago that was!) But it should be a challenge!
If I can raise enough money. I will put bluetongueskinks.net on my jersey and you guys can all cross the finish line with me, and then collapse on the grass exhasted with me, and then limp off to in pain with me, and then...eek can I do this?

That would be a really cool bonding experience with your dad too I bet!

Good on ya!!! I have a close friend who is doing tri's w/ her family now too---she has bad knees, ankles, and still pulls it off, so I know you can it! I'll be rooting for ya! :woo!:
