Would you rather have a bluey that...

Okay...I'm bored. So I racked my brain for something to post.
And by 'wild child' I don't really mean a bluey whose goal in life is to attack you, but maybe hisses, displays, but runs away a lot and isn't up for cuddling.
And the picky eater is not ill.

I would rather one who eats anything because that way they would be healthy. I know a less tame one would get stressed when you pick them up but I still think they would be healthier if they weren't so picky.

no contest for me. tame and picky. because that is pup d. he's not really so picky anymore though, he eats everytime i feed him now. i think it's because i started feeding him in his cage as opposed to outside his cage when he'd rather explore. besides, somehow he's fat.
i have no desire for lizards i can't cuddle
if i can't cuddle the animal, it must be an exceptional cage specimen, very pretty to look at with interesting cage habits and what not (poison dart frogs, green tree python, fish etc...)

Definitely tame. I love handle my lizards and cuddle them.
If a stranger walked in my reptile room while I was in there they would probably think I had a screw loose
I am always picking them up and baby talking to them. Telling them how pretty they are and what a big boy or girl they are.
When they eat good I tell them how proud 'mama' is.

I'd pick a wild child that would eat anything. Before Cole I might have said the opposite, but it can be so frustrating and stressful having a picky eater - especially when you have a good eater to compare to. While I love bluey cuddles as well, I'd rather a wild child that was more of a display animal if it ate very well.

A wild child all the way ! Most of my breeders are pure evil, all they want to do is eat me ! And boy are they PIGS !
Thats why I like tons of babies, so I can play with them for months on end , until they are all gone !

Gee, that's a really hard question. I like personality in my critters, but snuggling is fun, too. I guess I'd have to say one of each. That way i'd have the best of both. I'm lucky, mine are all pretty good eaters, and pretty tame (Cruiser has his moments; actually, I'm beginning to agree that Cruiser is female. PMS skink.)

Ernesto has always been a good eater (well except for the first few weeks) and he's my wild child! I don't mind if they're a bit feisty... Or if they want to chomp my arm off! Chuckie is my one for cuddling!

I would pick tame, but ONLY because you said the skink is not ill. If the skink does not get sick because of his small eating habits, and just doesn't have a big appetite, I'd prefer him tame.

I'd still worry - what can I say I'm a worrier! And I'd always be frustrated and stressed because of it.

I don't have to choose because I have Spike. He's a huge sweetheart and eats like a pig!!!

I'd have to vote for tame. I love to snuggle with my guys and as long as they aren't sick, then I'm fine with them being picky. Although I will say that having 2 big eaters is kind of nice.

I'm such a worrywart when it comes to my animals. Even if the picky eater wasn't ill I'd become so worried that it would get sick from not eating.

You just haven't had Cole for long enough. I've mostly come to terms that Frankie is just picky and there isn't much I can do about it.

I hope I get better dealing with it. I need to weigh him to see if he's losing weight or not. It's also frustrating because I so love taking an interest in my animals diet, preparing their food, watching them eat, etc.

If he's losing weight then I'd worry. Frankie's not and will eat snails or worms that interest her so I know she's fine. But it is frustrating when I make a nice plate and she doesn't eat it. When I feed them today Spike cleaned his plate in no time (I love to watch him eat) and after staring at it and stalking it Kaylee at his. Frankie wandered up to the plate and put her head on it to rest! Then looked at me like you want me to eat this! She is such a little snot!

I prefer tame, I love to chat with and cuddle Jubby and have him snuggle up on my lap. A picky eater is not a major problem for me because I only have one herp to worry about.

I also pick tame because you said the skink is not ill....But, JJ was very very tame (in fact...a big potato) and he was a pig too....guess I was lucky.......
