Bluey Tank Setup- Any additions?

I finally have my tank set up for my baby Halmahera that I'm grabbing next weekend. He's got a few hides, a big ol water dish, a couple of places to bask, and some plants for filler. For heating I have a basking lamp and also a UVB light just in case. Is there anything else that I should grab? Temps and humidity are reading WAY better than I anticipated. Without any misting the humidity is hovering around 80-90% and on the cool side temperature without any heating/lighting at all is chilling at 75 during the day, so I think things are off to a good start. I've got my hot spot settled out and things are looking good! Is there anything that any of you guys think that I should add to make the little guy more comfortable? He's got a feeding dish too obviously, but that's outside of the tank until it's time.

Possibly a background? There are some 3D ones like cork bark panels you can get to put in the enclosure or there are some nature photo prints on pvc sheets that you can wrap around the sides and back that you can secure with tape.
I'm noticing that BTS's don't exactly understand the concept of glass (or maybe it's just mine) and will do a lot of glass surfing (rubbing their noses against the glass to try and push through or climbing up them) unless they feel more enclosed. Of course, you could always just tape some black pvc sheets (since those should be heat resistant) to the back and/or sides of the enclosure. My bluey does a lot better in his enclosure when there's a background. Plus, I'm sure it's nice for the both of us to look at. :D

Everything thing looks relatively good. What size enclosure is this? Also what is your basking temp at? You don't necessarily have to cover the sides of the enclosure. It just all depends on the skink.

It’s a 40 Gallon breeder! I’m hoping to get a 4x2x2 once the little guy gets bigger, but I figured this might be more comfortable for a bit. The basking temp was hovering around 98-100* when I had the lamp on today to test it. I’ll leave it on longer tomorrow to see if it fluctuates too much, since I’ll be home all day to keep an eye on it.

That all sounds really good. Hal's like it hot, so I would bump the basking spot up a bit. Aim between a 100-110. The key with them though is humidity. Make sure it is at least 80-100%.

Awesome! Thank you so much! I’ll see what I can get it at today while I’m home and adjust as needed
