T5 UBV for Northern BTS enclosure

Hi,
I just got my 6 monts old Northern BTS and he’s in a 36”Lx12”Hx18”W glass enclosure with screen top. I have his halogen light and a T5 UVB light over his basking spot (which is raised about 3” from the ground) so the distance between the basking spot and the UVB light is about 8” with the screen in between.
I got the reptisun T5-HO terrarium hood and it came with a 5.0 UVB lamp. My question is, is it enough UVB with the 5.0 or should I get the 10.0 instead?
Thank you!

I have no clue, I'm in the same boat on this question: 5.0 vs 10.0. I'm going for using a T5, on top of the screen lid, instead of a T8 that goes in the tank. Here's to hoping that someone knowledgeable responds.

My wooden vivarium is 24" high and I have an Arcadia T5 12% unit fitted mounted on the underside of the wooden ceiling (which allowing for substrate plus rock height gives an unscreened distance (with reflector hood too) of about 15-16".
I'd think a 10% would be the better choice, given that there's a screen between also in your case.
