Moving to Florida, any vets?

Postby rixusaku » Wed Jun 01, 2022 12:10 pm

I'm moving to Florida in two months and I wanted to know if anyone knew of any reliable veterinarians near the West Palm Beach area? I know theres some in Miami, but that's about a 1.5 hour drive and I would like to have something closer if that's possible

I found a place called The Bird & Exotic Hospital at 6147 Lake Worth Rd, Greenacres, FL 33463, anyone know if they're good with blue tongue skinks?

I also found Broward Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital at 1101 S Powerline Rd Suite 108, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442. Anyone have any experiences with these guys or the ones in my previous reply?

I'd suggest checking out reviews for both.

Hands down Browards. https://exoticanimalcare.com/. They are the best in FL.

Thank you so much!! I did give both places a call and it did seem like Browards was far more responsive and knowledgeable about my question. The other place sounded like they almost didn't know what a blue tongue was. Thank you for confirming my choice!! It's a bit of a drive but I think it'll be worth it. :D
