Discord is the newer version of oldschool forums. Basically a chat room with different areas for different topics. But it lacks a lot of the features forums have. It's too bad so many folks moved away from forums, they're usually an amazing resource.

Yes, and most of the 'kidlets' answer questions after googling ....
There are very few experienced keepers left on here.

Welcome back! I wish forums could be revived, I miss them a lot. Social media, especially facebook, just seems to have become a breeding ground for so much hate and judgement. I don't really understand why.

I totally agree. people have nothing better to do than bash others they do not even know. So glad I'm old, would hate to be around in another 20 years...and if I am I hope I'm too senile to know or care what is going on. The amount of mis-information on animal care runs rampant, and unfortunately that's where all the newbies go. Most of them had parents in kindergarten when I got my first reptile. Back then absolutely nothing was known about reptile care, you had to find out by experience. Experience is what I wish to share, not something I just googled.
