I have a Northern BTS who is four months old today. I've had her for about two months and up until now she has been eating and growing very well and has never skipped a meal. She's usually very active and curious during the day. On the days that I work I usually don't see her since she likes to burrow for the night and her regular bedtime is 4 p.m. (she's incredibly regular about this!). I'll put food in for her before I leave for work and it will be gone when I get home.
Now for two days she hasn't touched her food, and today I'm home and I've not seen her (it's currently 11 a.m. here and she'll usually be out by then). I think she might be in shed because she looked a bit duller in color the last time I saw her. She's been looking pretty chunky so I'm not super worried about missing a few meals but she is just a baby.
My question is, how long do I let her stay burrowed before I dig her out to check she's okay? I don't want to stress her out. She's my first reptile so I'm worried to miss something
Thanks in advance for any responses
