Skink opening mouth after eating
Hi, I got my 7 hear old BTS around a year ago and she usually has been completely fine but as I was feeding her today she started almost gagging and opening her mouth repeatedly after eating, almost as if she's yawning but she's not, I fed her a few mealworms as well as some grain free canned dog food. I just want to make sure everything is ok and if there's anything I should be worrying about. She's done this once before but I didn't think anything of it as it was brief and she seemed fine.

Mealworms can be a bit rough going down..superworms or dubias would be a better choice if you opt to feed insects.

I don't usually think this is anything to worry about. Mine will do this if they take to much in their mouths or sometimes they do this if eating bugs.
