Hello everyone, as of lately little over 1yrd female BTS has been trying to climb and escape her enclosure. She is about a 14inches long and the enclosure is a 40-gallon wide. She hasn't eaten much, I try to feed her once every 2-3 days to keep her happy and full and proceed depending if she wants food or not. she keeps scratching at the glass and claiming everywhere seeming to escape. She isn't in the shed as of now. As of now and lately, it has been around 95+ degrees outside and probably on her hot side 100+, and cool side 80. I do have an AC unit where she is located it is my home office room and I work and try to stay cool. I water at least 2-3 times a day. I was wondering if this is normal or if something needs to be changed. I tried turning off the heat lamps which seemed to help for a bit, but then proceeded to do the same after an hour or 2. Please let me know asap.

thank you

This time of year they are looking to brumate. Mine do not like temps above 90 and seek the cooler end if it rises to that or above.
The agitation could be a result of higher heat when they are looking to cool down.
