BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

For some reason this time the forum would not allow me to have more than 10 poll options (we have 18 entries).

My thoughts are that members can just post their choice in the thread or you can email me vote and remain anonymous.

Let me know what you think and tomorrow morning I'll see what the majority things and then I'll post the entries based on the popular opinion.

definitely anonomous. we don't want anyone feeling bad for not voting for others or lame for voting for their own.

If they're still numbered, I think we could still post in the thread. That way people could comment like "I vote for #2 because it's so funny" or something like that and it would still be anonymous. Would that work?

try again and if it doesnt work mabye zach can do something and allow you to post 18. Or create 2 threads with 9 photos on each and have them vote for the best one and then make another with the 2 winning ones and have everyone vote on those 2 and we'll get he winner. Since we can't control if people vote for 1 on the one thread and another on the other thread, so have everyone vote once on the 1st and 2nd.

I think the idea of being able to keep it anonymous is important.

We'll try splitting them this time, but there has to be a way to increase the number of poll options. Another site I visit does the same thing, uses the phpBB (whatever it is). Hopefully it can be fixed because this just draws the contest out longer.

We'll do the split votes until 7/31 and then the tie-breaker starting 8/1-8/4

I'll just split the pictures into the first 9 submitted and the last 9 submitted. Everyone can vote once on each thread. Let's hope this works!

However, everyone feel free to create posts in the thread to reveal who you voted for or your comments on any pics if you want. I just think it helps to have the option of anonymity.

Another idea, since we started this 7 months into the year we should take the winner of number 1 and number 2 and vote again like tiger wants to, then take the winners photo and put it on july and take the 2nd favorite picture and put it on january or june.

The site will only allow you to vote once on a poll. Each person can make a vote on the first group and a vote on the second group. Then I'll take the winner from each group and we will have a poll to pick the winner between the two.

oh you're right. i never even noticed that
i was just going to to test it out and try to vote on this poll again to see what happened but you don't even get the option. i'm dumb
