Just wondering how many of you kiss your skinks.

All the time! Every time I pick him up or as I put him down I give him kisses. If I walk past him on the lounge I bend down and give him kisses. If I'm lying on the ground and he comes and climbs up me or goes under me I give him a kiss.

I always talk to him too.

Now, licking..................... :shock:

Sometimes, but I always ask them for kisses and wait for them to give me a lick!

I try not to for the well-being of both parties, but I do all of the insanely pathetic cooing motherly talk, and kiss in their direction when looking into their enclosures (especially Cookie's) :oops:

Most of the time I let them kiss me. I love the feel of a lizard tongue. I wonder what they think of the way we smell.

I do kiss Miss Midge....eskimo style !!

I went to give Midge a little kiss once and Zak started getting upset, telling me that I was going to get the "sally men lo' germs (he's 5)
and they will make me really sick. So now I just do the eskimo kiss.
And even then, Zak makes me wash my nose with the Wipe Out 3.

this is a funny poll. good one tyler. i'm actually surprised by the results. i thought everyone here probably kissed their skinks incessantly.

i kiss pup d probably like 5 times a day. he's totally indifferent to it. i also kiss him in front of strangers when they're asking "is he nice?" "does he bite?" i just give him a big kiss on the head and somehow it makes them sigh in relief and go "how cute!"
