I like the idea of adding the two smaller one's, so that way the runner's up in the contests can be added.

I voted for the third option. I like having one large picture to focus on without any distractions. At the same time, I like having the runner-ups recognized. I thought they'd be less distracting at the end. Plus, having the pictures on the end would make the number page more interesting.

I like the big pic smaller inset pics, but that may be a problem with some of the contest pics as they may not be that easy to view when in the smaller form.
Can Zach even do this?

I would think that if you saved the picture as one jpg file (like I did on page 9 of the calendar picture thread) it would just act like a regular picture and wouldn't be any different.
I really have no idea.

That's exactly right. It will work as long as it's one big picture. It's also important to keep the picture as BIG as possible because we can always shink them down, but we cannot blow them up without losing quality.

I like it but one suggestion. I find the wording under the pictures should be a bit smaller, I find it takes away from the month being that big. My eyes are kind of drawn to it more than the anywhere else.
Just a thought.

what if we had a picture on every little day box? like maybe a slightly faded one so everyone gets their daily recommended dose of blueys or something.

I'm not designing that! We can hardly agree on 36 bluey pics! If someone else wants to do that, I'll help though.
