Man, that was like the hardest decision I've ever had to make it my life! They were all so good! I voted for number 2 though, the 'One skink open sleigh' won me over!

They are all adorable! #12 is either admiring baby Jesus or deciding how tasty of a snack he'd be!

man, I really liked mine this time around but there were so many great ones I just had to vote for #6. I think it truely deserves to be the big picture for December in the Calender, but that one skink open sleigh cracked me up too!! It was so hard to chose between the tow. lol

I thought about doing a nativity scene like #12...except the skink was going to play the role of baby Jesus. Then I thought it might be too sacrilegious.

Also, I already have my contest idea for next December.

those are great! #13 is like attack of the giant skinks!! i wish Blue would have been up for some photos.... stupid winter sleep.....

Agreed; I love everything about #6, especially the shiny candy canes...

I had to vote for #2, not only because it is a GREAT reptile shot, but for the sheer amount of work and awesome luck to have two animals cooperate like that! It looks like a commercial or something, just perfect. I know who that one is.......

heh, I could put my beardies in a crocks mouth and they'd just sit there. they are so lazy...... But to get the skink to stay and get the picture with the tongue out, now that must have been a job. lol

It was a great shot, truely deserves to be recognized as well. I'm so glad 2nd and 3rd place pics get to be in the calender as well. There are so many great photos!!!

Ok, I don't know who #4's skink belongs too cuz all I can see is a head....

But, can the owner of that skink come and do my floors!!! wow that floor looks shiny. lol.


Oh, and that Skink Cracker (haha, never thought I'd say that in a sentence) looks reall great too!!!

I laughed hard at this comment. I was thinking the same thing. I was admiring the hardwood floors and skinks this month!

I hope the contest doesn't turn into one picture being tauted against another. Besides, if anyone is going to win for getting animals to cooperate, IT'S ME!! Try getting a 25 pound turkey with an attitude and a wild caught skink wearing said turkey's own feathers - held together with play-doh - to share 2 seconds together for a picture!

I have to confess that I love both taking and viewing the contest pics. And thanks to Tigergenesis for her time, and everyone else who helps with prizes, etc.

So I figure that the combination of all these photos is basically a representation of Don and Jeanne's christmas so far

HA! I really loved your turkey picture. I'm not sure it tops your halloween one though, man is that a good one....
