The component parts of the Blackbird fit very loosely together to allow for expansion at high temperatures. At rest on the ground, fuel leaks out constantly, since the tanks in the fuselage and wings only seal at operating temperatures
actually the place hadn't paid taxes in ~5 yrs and was forced to shut down. the owner was still trying to run the place last i heard. he gave me Blue, since he hadn't paid me (and the other 10 ppl) for several months, so Blue was kind of like a 'thanks, cant pay u so take this instead.' plus i really like him, and had worked with him a lot.

he's so incredibly calm too, since he was man-handled by kids all his life (i think he's around 2-3yrs). i can do anything and touch him anywhere and he doesnt care. he doesnt mind other animals either. in the summer, i take him into pet stores just to keep that contact factor.
