I have the opportunity to buy one of those for 150... opinions? Seems like it would be easy to move, easy to clean, etc. Not cheap for sure(i would save a few bucks on shipping though since it's local pickup), but maybe better than building one that weighs as much as a mini cooper and isn't that great. Also being able to buy replacement parts would be pretty handy. But it all comes down to if it would be a good home for a blue tongue... opinions?
Sorry if this is similar to a previous thread of mine about a tank on ebay, but i didn't want to bring it back to the top for a question at the very end of it, hehe. Thanks guys!

I always thought they would be cool for breeders, or someone who has a ton of animals, since they are stackable. Wow, that price on the website is ridiculous though!
Glasscages.com has their 65 gallon sliding front for $150, which is a foot longer than that one. Plus they'll be delivering to Atlanta on the 25th of May so you wouldn't have to pay shipping.
Just another option.

Ah, I emailed them yesterday asking about that(how the delivery dates worked). The top added to that tank would make it 180 though... but I do like them. Also though, the vision is 10 inches deeper, so I believe it has a bit more floor space. I also inquired about whether or not they would consider a student discount on one of those with a screen top, so we will see what they say, hehe.
nice new av, you addict you, lol.

Ohhh yeah...forgot all about having to buy the top seperately at glasscages. That jacks the price up some. Maybe they'll give ya a discount. It's worth a try at least! If it works, let me know and I'll try for a "little ole lady" discount!
Ok, so my addiction to blueys AND graphics is showing. I'll be changing my avatar every week, lol.

Glasscages.com emailed me back. No discount, lol. I even mentioned that several people from this forum had recommended them to me. They didn't respond to my question about the atlanta delivery date, and gave me a total of cage+lid+shipping being 210 bucks for the 50g granite sliding.... if that vision is in good shape, and i can mount my uvb lamp in it easily... i may have to pick it up.... it would be HUGE.
