Hello from Michigan!

Postby evil pixie » Wed May 23, 2007 5:13 pm

So today was really nice and warm (near 90F), and it was my day off, so my lizards spent a lot of today outside as i worked on my tan. Not the greatest of pictures, but Blue wandered his way into our pond area so i snapped some shots.

He is beautiful! Did you get him from one of the BTS breeders? Is that just a "normal" color or a morph? I absolutely love him!

Very pretty (or should I say handsome?) skink. He has "frosted" markings like you see on some corn snakes. Looks like he's having fun on his adventure.

:noknow: I have no idea where he came from. I got him from my former job employer that closed down due to poor money management. I got to take Blue as a 'door prize', as i call it.

Blueys really don't have "morphs..." There's different regions that the same species will look a little different through evolution. No one has taken the time to create a specific pattern with any bluey. Which is okay by me. :hehe:

Hello from Warrimoo!

He's looking great

I think because of the lack of knowledge about the species (and their different types), prolific breeding, people incorrectly identifying them and then selling them and the easy availability of bluetongues in petstores over there has meant that over the years the patterns and colours of some animals varies greatly from the wild ones here in Aus. I'd like a northern.

No morphs! But a splendid lighter-than-normal Northern.

Terrific looking.
