Quick Question

I have noticed that after LittleFoot yawns, he often times leaves his mouth open a little. Is this normal?
This is him 5 minutes later basking on his rock

Mine does that too sometimes. I don't think there is anything wrong with it but I really don't know. I know with bearded dragons they do that when basking to let off some heat once in a while but I don't know if that applies to skinks seeing mine does it on the hot and cool end. It'll be interesting to see one of the more knowledgeable people give an explanation tough.

No true, explanation, just to agree, mine too, I used to think maybe a big gob stretch like the yawn may need a little time to settle back into place

Maybe he's too tired to close his mouth all the way??? He just woke up after all!
