Not sure how many other people on here are from this wet and windy country... And it certainly is wet and windy at the moment!
I'm soon to be inheriting a BTS from a friend of ours who's moving to the States - she's 18 months old and I believe she's an Indo.
So there's my reason for joining this community - to get information on how best to care for the new arrival! So far just from reading about 20 threads it looks like this is the place to be
So yeah, hello from me - and soon, hello from Lilly the Skink once I get some pictures

Welcome! Wish you could send some of that rain over our way. We could use it here.
You'll find lots of great info here. The caresheet is a really good place to start. I'm new to skinks also and I think I learn something everyday here.
Can't wait to see Lilly. I love pics!

Hi Shellyjean
I had a read through the caresheet a few weeks back when we first agreed to take Lilly in - lots of useful information there.
Next step is to visit the local reptile vets tomorrow afternoon to get registered and ask for some advice... And also to go down to the reptile pet shop for substrate and cleaning equipment
I'll will the rain your way if we can have some of your sunshine!

Welcome!!
I'm brand new here and awaiting my first BTS, as well. I like to do some research before getting a new critter and this is a great site!
Enjoy!

P.s. I can't wait to see pics of Lilly!

I'll have some of that rain too - even though we FINALLY got some - but still not enough to take us off the water restrictions.
*shakes fist at steve bracks* "STOP SELLING OUR WATER TO NSW!!!"

I am fairly new to this site to, besides the fact that I have been reading up on the caresheet for well over a year before starting to post.

Thanks for your welcomes
Bluey pics will be forthcoming I assure you - I'm picking up Lilly (or, as my other half has suggested, possibly Savage... Some of you will know this reference...) on Saturday, so pics will be posted that evening!

I've noticed! I'm sure I'll be asking quite a few questions in weeks (possibly years) to come...

I'm already registered with them, thanks

There's a guy there called Chris Arkenstall apparently who deals with Blueys.
