Hello Folks

Hello Everyone at BlueTongueSkinks.net.

Just wanted to introduce myself to you all.

I am new to the world of BTS, though not new to keeping a reptile as a pet. I used to have a ball python for nine years. The only reason I had to get rid of her three years ago was because of living arrangements. I still miss her at times.

Now that I am in a new place I decided I wanted a pet again. While I would have been happy with the new ball python, I wanted to try something new. After doing research(and finding this awesome site.) I've decided to get a BTS. I have always thought they were really cool looking lizards.

At this time I do not have a skink yet. This weekend I will be getting the cage set up and next weekend the 9th, I will be going to the Northwestern Berks Reptile show to look for a skink. http://pythons.com/hamburg/
Hopefully I will find some good breeders with healthy animals. If not, I will wind up ordering one from one of the site recommended breeders.

I will keep you folks posted. :)

We're picking up Savage today (yaaay!) so yeah, we're pretty new to it too...

From what I've heard pretty much everywhere, they're brilliant pets!

No Zach you are not going crazy. My intro is basically a reworded version of the email I sent to you when I first found this site, telling you how helpful the site was in my research into Blue tongues.
