What a beautiful Indo you have there. I think she could give my Northern a run for his money at mealtime! Would you mind posting pictures of your enclosure? What is that textured stuff you have along the far side? I hate to be nosey---but I might have to copy some things! Thanks!

Thanks! I'm not sure which you are asking about, but there are artificial flowers/greenery in the background, and the walls are lined with contact paper for easy cleaning. Their enclosure was made by my fiance, out of PDF board, and the front is plexiglass that folds down. I posted pics of it ages ago, I'll try to find them to show again. If I can't find the old ones I'll post some new ones

One of these days I will! I've thought about it the past 2 seasons, but I always chicken out because I'm afraid they will hurt eachother. Mr. Booger is so tiny compared to her, but he can be fiesty. She's really laid back, but I'm sure she could easily kill him if she wanted...she's like 3 times him size. I'm such a worry wart when it comes down to it! LOL

I would love one but don't be risking them. it's not worth it if you had to lose one or worry while one recovered. When they're closer in size then.

Actually - having a male that is smaller than the female is a good thing. it'll minimise damage to the female (more often than not). Also if you're worried - stay and watch when you put them together - this way you can intervene if needed.

cute pics, lovely blueys u have there,i like the tongeu out the side shot, lol, thats a nice pair u have,as blotch said if u supervise them when u introduce them, then u can intervene if needed, but yeah even when they do it right they still pretty rough, lol, but remember it is natural, and u can seperate them before introducing again so she isnt constantly being harrased, lovely skinks anyway, and doesnt matter if u breed or not, bubs r nice but so r they, and they look very well looked after, great stuff, keep up the good work

I find it hard to distinguish actually! I've had my thoughts about her being Meruke as well. Nia said that when she had her and posted pics here, the forum thought she was Indo, but I do wonder! Either way she's my pretty girl

Take a full length body shot and let us take a look - one of the lizard would be good too!

hahaha j/k
Seriously though - how long is your bluey? does it have a tail as long as its head to rear legs? That's a pretty easy way to tell if it's indo or merauke. I LOVE MERAUKES!!!! I WANT ONE SOOO BAD!
